The repertoire for our Spring 2015 concert emphasizes distinctive dances and musical styles from all around the world. The pieces selected for this concert represent a variety of cultures and were carefully orchestrated to represent the real folk characters of different traditions. The harmonies of the Slavonic Dances by Dvorak, electrifying Jan Van der Roost’s Gypsy song tempos and Klezmer or Arabesque melodies made this concert a unique experience.
